About the author:

Kevin De Meersman from Aalst, perhaps a late bloomer as an author at the age of 43, studied and earned a medical degree at the University of Ghent. Although his career was in the medical field, and he taught for many years in the same sector, the fantasy bug has been active since his childhood; games, books, movies, and comics were part of his daily life. Only three years ago did he start his writing journey with The king of Calex, a rediscovery of his passion for fantasy. Now, he aims to continue engaging readers of all ages with books like The Necromancer and The Treasure of the Mini-Ents. His goal is to convey the same strength, energy, and joy he felt when discovering The Neverending Story, The Jungle Book, Lord of the Rings, The Legend of Zelda, and countless other stories. For him, that moment of pure escapism is truly worth gold.
